J550
Located in a residential house in Bumi Tamalanrea Permai Housing Complex, Makassar, Jln. Kerukunan Barat, Blok J No. 550, this initiative initially began with the hobby of Ansar Mulkin, the initiator of J550, scavenging and collecting old school items that would be discarded by the previous owner. In its development, the hobby has continued until now and has reached a very large condition and accumulated objects such as books, documents, newspapers, vinyl records, shop signs, ontel bicycles, photographs and so on in the house where he lives with his family. J550, which was previously known as Celebes Vintage Gallery, has been visited by various parties, ranging from researchers, museum managers, artists, historians, and students and has utilized its collections for exhibitions, book publications and so on.
